In the next few months, Cassandra’s Children will provide a robust educational section for our website. The Education section will include information such as:
- Guidance on stocking your pantry, freezer, and household to prepare for economic downturns;
- Self-sufficiency, including on how to start and maintain a home or container garden, home crafts, and animal husbandry; and
- Finding joy as an act of resistance, among other things.
In addition to our free general education materials, Cassandra’s Children will provide free K-12 homeschooling syllabi and teaching tools promoting reading, math, history, the arts, financial literacy, and critical thinking skills. These syllabi will be informed by a Pragmatic Progressive worldview, and will also include lessons on how to survive and thrive during economic downturns and periods of instability. Our organization’s goal is to have a functional homeschooling section within the next 12 months.
As a fully volunteer-led organization, Cassandra’s Children knows implementing our grand visions will take time.
In Solidarity,
